RLT Pad — Frequently Asked Questions
RLT Pad — Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to work?
Most customers feel a noticeable change in morning stiffness within the first 7-10 days of daily use. Substantial pain reduction and functional improvement typically take 4-6 weeks of 12-minute daily sessions.
Do I need to use it every day?
For best results, yes — 12 minutes once a day, ideally before bed or first thing in the morning. The protocol was designed to build up results over six weeks.
Can I use it with medication?
Yes. The RLT Pad doesn't interact with paracetamol, ibuprofen, cortisone, or any prescription knee-pain medication. Always speak to your GP before starting any new therapy.
Will it help if I have bone-on-bone arthritis?
The pad works best on soft-tissue inflammation, joint-capsule stiffness, and poor local circulation. If your scan shows bone-on-bone (advanced osteoarthritis), the pad can still reduce inflammation and improve range, but won't regrow cartilage. Our 60-day trial lets you try it without risk.
Is it safe?
The RLT Pad is a Class 1 medical-grade device, CE-marked in the UK and FDA-cleared in the US as a low-level laser / LED therapy device. It doesn't get hot enough to burn. The wavelengths used (660nm + 850nm) are the standard clinical-grade red + near-infrared spectrum.
Can I travel with it?
Yes. It's small enough to fit in a carry-on and plugs into any USB-C power source. Works on any voltage.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Return it within 60 days for a full refund. See our refund policy.
